To provide our athletes with quality tennis-oriented fitness, injury prevention and recovery option, ONE partners with ESP Performance. Successfully lead by Ben Barrick and Silvia Puccio, this company has been working with players at all levels including several Grand Slam champions, and NCAA champions, such as Naomi Osaka, Sofia Kenin, Viktoria Azarenka, Alexander Bublik and many others.ESP Performance is known for their individualized approach to training. Well-balanced weekly plans include movement, agility, endurance, explosivity, mobility and flexibility sessions as well as yoga session once a week.
All full-time players receive complimentary computer scan as a part of their program. This scan provides information on existing body condition and existing disbalances which could potentially lead to injuries in the future, helping to better understand important areas of focus during training.
We believe that recovery and injury prevention are among the most important, yet underestimated parts of a player’s preparation. As a part of this partnership, our players will have access to full Activation, Recovery, and Physical Therapy Staff provided by ESP and their partner company RAPT.
On top of the group sessions included in our short-term and long-term programs, individual sessions and packages for the fitness and recovery services are available, providing our clients with more customized, consistent and affordable training options.
Fitness sessions are done on the turf, in the gym and on the court. On-court sessions are focused on such key elements as movement and footwork technics and court position. All fitness sessions are tennis oriented and in addition to basic components (endurance, strength, explosivity, agility, etc.) include such specific injury-prevention oriented work as mobility, stability and flexibility sessions. Strategy and mental sessions are conducted during the rainy days to supplement the program.
